Get to know our friend and favorite Aussie PT, Alicia Von Brandenstein. Among her long list of qualifications, Alicia specializes in Les Mills classes such as BodyBalance, BodyPump & RPM. In addition to that, she is also a Pilates Matwork instructor as well as taking on clients for personalized training so that you can optimize your goals, or rebuild from past injuries and gain back your strength.
Her background stems from a Bachelor of Applied Science, Masters in Biotechnology and currently extending even more (as if she needs more, wow!) by studying a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology. A lifetime experience in physical fitness, Alicia is the fitness instructor we all wish for. Her kind and understanding approach to clients touches our heart as well as her ambition and love for helping people reach their goals.
Based in Brisbane, Australia, Alicia loves the warm climate, drinking coffee and living her best life in awesome activewear. We are proud that Alicia has agreed to be our Brand Ambassador <3 Thank you Alicia <3

What is you Expertise?
I am a certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness instructor.
How do you like to keep healthy?
I love to be active! Due to the nature of my job, I am active almost everyday of the week. I also like to try different sports and activities from time to time to keep things fresh. I think that is important not just for your body but for your mind as well. Furthermore, I make sure I eat a variety of different foods to keep my energy levels up and get a good night’s sleep every night.
What are your best workout tips?
- Find an activity or a sport that you enjoy. If you don’t enjoy it, it will feel like a chore; find something you love and it will feel like part of your life.
- If you are in the gym – focus on you and no-one else. Everyone is at a different stage of their health journey.
- Set small, achievable goals to keep yourself motivated and if you workout with a friend, the more fun a workout can be.
What are your best wellness tips?
I find it really important to take some time out to yourself from time to time. Health is not just about being physically active but it is also about taking care of your mental wellness. We are so caught up in a busy world that we forget to just stop and breathe.
Take 5 minutes out of your day, put some headphones on and listen to some relaxing, calming music. Close your eyes and take slow deep breathes in and out. If you are finding it hard to do this, schedule it into your diary so that you have a reminder. You will feel better for it 😊
